About VP Photo Club

The Viewpoint Photo Club is comprised of members who are interested in photography.  

Photographers with all levels of experience are welcome to join. It doesn't matter whether you use a cell phone, 'point & shoot' camera, or a high end DSLR. If you enjoy photography, you are welcome.

Club meetings are usually held the first and third Wednesday of the month from November through March. in the Kokopelli Room at 3:00 pm. Please check the website calendar for any changes. Meetings are planned to include educational and informative programs to help members enhance their skills.

In addition to regular meetings, Field Trips are organized throughout the season.

The club holds an Annual Photograph Competition in which members submit their photographs for professional judging. Following the Competition is an Annual Exhibition of those photographs for public viewing and voting for “people’s choice awards”. Winners are announced at the Annual Awards Banquet.
Additionally, the club often offers classes in post-processing, mini-competitions, challenges, and one-on-one mentoring.
